Sound Healing teaches an Energy Medicine approach, developed by Dr. Beaulieu, which integrates energy healing, systems science, molecular research, and spiritual wisdom. Students learn practical methods for using tuning forks to tune the nervous system, stimulate trigger points, and align our posture to geometric patterns. Special emphasis is given to developing systematic evaluation methods based on structural analysis and the five elements. Evaluation methods, which can also be used for healing, include postural analysis related to sonic intervals and five element evaluation using voice and movement patterns. The material is supported by clinical examples and stories based on Dr. Beaulieu’s thirty-three years of practice. Sound Methods will include the use of Pythagorean Tuning Forks, Otto (osteophonic) Tuning Forks, and five element music, and voice analysis.

Music of the Spheres focuses on refining the language of energy by using Planetary tuning forks related to explore the zodiac, planets, and the elements. We will learn and how they relate to mental and physical behaviors. Special exercises are presented to help students tune into the planets in order to directly experience their effects. Different methods for using planet tuning forks will be taught. We will learn how the planet tuning forks relate to the zodiac, and we will map them to the whole body, spine, and cranium based on astrological healing systems. A knowledge of astrology is not required to attend however astrologers will be able to easily integrate the planet forks into their practice.
Sound Evaluation Practicum (18 hrs) -- Coming Spring 2008!
Sound Evaluation is a practicum course based on the evaluation methods taught in Sound and Consciousness and Sound Healing seminars. Students review the evaluation methods presented in previous seminars and deepen their evaluation skills through supervised experience. During class Dr. Beaulieu reviews and teaches evaluation methods and demonstrates how information is formulated into a sound session. The evaluation methods include five star alignment, five elements assessment, and history taking. Each student then practices the method and creates a sound session based on their evaluation. To enroll in the course you will need to have taken Sound Healing and/or Sound and Consciousness, or have special permission.
